Holding 92% of our share capital, Advent International is our main shareholder. Advent International is an international partnership focusing exclusively on private equity, primarily majority buyouts.

Since its founding in 1984, Advent International has completed over 250 transactions valued at approximately $50 billion in 35 countries, encompassing both established and rapidly developing markets. It employs over 300 people worldwide, including over 160 investment professionals. It operates from offices in 17 markets, with affiliates in seven further countries. Advent International's investment philosophy centers on value creation driven by an active ownership approach. It has developed partnerships with over 70 senior industry executives to actively contribute to the strategic and operational development of portfolio companies.

It has a long-term focus on chemicals, having invested in the European chemicals sector for over 20 years.

Since it began investing in Germany in 1984, Advent International has established a strong footprint in Germany, creating a Frankfurt based advisory team in 1991 that covers Germany, Austria and Switzerland. To date, Advent International's German team has led 22 buyouts, including five chemical companies.
