Who is OXEA?
OXEA, one of the world's largest suppliers of oxo-chemicals and derivatives, was established in March 2007 by the merger of business units from two big chemical companies.
OXEA offers its customers worldwide a well-matched product portfolio along the entire value chain of oxo-chemicals. This includes a variety of solvents, polyols, carboxylic acids, alkylamines and olefin derivatives. These products are used in high-quality coatings, lubricants, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products, flavorings and fragrances, printing inks and plastics.
OXEA has annual sales worth about 1.2 billion euros and employs some 1,300 people in Europe and the United States. They are supported by an experienced sales team in OXEA's most important markets worldwide.
Around 1,100 people work for OXEA in Germany. The Ruhrchemie plant in Oberhausen is largest manufacturing site of OXEA . Additional sites include a further production facility at Marl and an office in Kronberg. In the USA, OXEA employs around 200 people at its Bay City and Bishop sites and at an office in Dallas.
