As a lab assistant, you will work largely independently on the preparation, execution and
evaluation of trials and studies. You will be responsible for precisely analyzing materials in
our company and then documenting and evaluating the results. The training lasts for 3.5
years, and the initial prerequisite is the qualification for admission to technical college (the
equivalent of the German "Fachoberschulreife").

In our training center, you will become familiar with the fundamentals of your occupation. You
will learn about chemical processes and the equipment in the chemical facilities. You will also
learn various analysis methods and produce a number of compounds. You will then be able
to put your theoretical and practical knowledge to use in our company’s laboratories. The
training ends with a final exam at the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).
